CyFrica 2026 — Oct 8
Also known as the CyFrica Summit, this is a cybersecurity conference, organised by global B2B events driver Tradepass.
It serves as the meeting point for securing the framework of the continent’s digital economy. It explores the massive $1.2 billion cybersecurity and cloud protection market and is endorsed by core government entities, including NITDA and NDPC.
The 2026 panel features leaders, including Dr Vincent O. Olatunji (NDPC), Dr Ayodele Bakare (NITDA), Dr Muktar Bello (EFCC), and Obiora Awogu (MTN MoMo PSB).
Interswitch TechConnect 6.0 — Oct 13
Interswitch TechConnect 6.0 is a four-city nationwide tour. It has made its first stop in Owerri, and its next stop will be in Abuja this October. It is organised by Interswitch Group, one of Africa’s fintech giants and will give attendees a first look at its latest products.
The 2026 theme is “Built for What’s Next: Designing Adaptive Financial Infrastructure for a Dynamic Market.” The lineup features financial administrators, commissioners, and Interswitch leaders Tyoyila Aga and Robinta Aluyi, as well as Dr Kalu Nnachi of Zikora Microfinance Bank.
The TeXcellence Conference 2026 — Oct 13
A corporate tech and innovation forum, organised annually by pan-African technology giant CWG Plc, the theme for the 2026 conference is “Accelerating Africa’s Digital Future“. This month’s event marks its 5th annual edition in Lagos, Nigeria.
Speakers include Dr Joe Abah, OON, a public policy reformer addressing Africa’s GovTech Stack; Ayotunde Coker, CEO of Open Data Centres; and Fola Folowosele, Vice President and Head of NBA Nigeria, leading creative economy tracks.
Lagos Finance Summit — Oct 14-16
This event was launched this year in response to Nigeria’s rise as Africa’s most active digital retail trading ecosystem. LFS 2026 is a three-day convergence bringing together market players. The summit follows the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) release of draft rules regulating online forex and CFD trading. On day two, attendees will collaborate to examine the proposed framework and draft an industry response to submit to the SEC. It will be held at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
Inspire Africa Conference 2026 — Oct 14-15
The Inspire Africa Conference 2026 is recognised as Africa’s largest tech product and innovation conference, produced by the Innovate Africa Foundation in partnership with Silicon Valley Product Group (SVPG). Its 2026 conference is titled “From Problems to Products”. After expanding its footprint across East Africa by successfully hosting its 3rd edition in Kigali, Rwanda, in 2025, the flagship event returns to its foundational roots in Nigeria for 2026.

Young Innovators Forum — Oct 14
An acceleration forum organised by BusinessDay Nigeria, it is designed to guide the next generation of builders away from informal, day-to-day survival toward institutional wealth creation. The 2026 edition is “From Hustle to Enterprise: Building the Next Generation of African Businesses“. Its speakers include Orafu Charles, Lead Mobile Engineer at Reeple (Techstars alum), and Zainab Abubakar, Public Relations Manager at PalmPay.
AWS Community Day 2026 — Oct 16-17
The AWS Cloud Security User Group organises AWS Community Day. It operates as a peer-to-peer educational environment designed to help developers and architects learn directly from one another. This year’s title is “Unbound Innovation: Scaling Agentic AI across Enterprises with AWS. ” It holds raffle draws for hardware support.
Untitled Designers Conference — Oct 16
An exclusive event for designers, animators, and product leaders. Now, in its fifth edition, it has hosted over 5000 creatives. Founded by Chukwuka Ezeoke, Marvis Ighedosa, and James Moses James, the 2026 theme is “Human by Design: Where Culture, Code & Creativity Meet.” The event will include a live hackathon with prizes to be won. It’s a two-day event in Lagos featuring 17 core industry speakers, including Niyi Okeowo, Head of Creative at Kuda.
Raenest Exchange 2026 — Oct 21
Hosted by cross-border fintech Raenest, Raenest Exchange is designed for the modern global builder, creator, and freelancer ecosystem. At the first edition, it revealed its expansion into the United States market. The 2026 edition is “Money Without Borders: Stablecoins, Global Work, and the Future of Money”. Its speakers include Adeife Adeoye, founder of Remote WorkHER; Victor Fatanmi, founder of Fourthcanvas; and Ekwutosi Cynthia Okeh, founder of the Digital Witch Support Community.
Blockfest Africa 2026 — Oct 22-24
Convened by tech entrepreneur Samuel Olaoyenikan, it is a pan-African summit mapping the intersections of digital finance, decentralisation, culture, and emerging tech. The inaugural 2025 convention pulled in over 12,000 attendees from 50 countries. It stood out for physically bringing top regulatory watchdogs, such as the Director General of the Nigerian SEC, on stage alongside crypto innovators to publicly hash out institutional framework models. The 2026 event features public officials and digital innovators, including Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (Deputy Governor of Lagos State), Dr Tunji Alausa (Minister of Education), and various tech founders.

Moonshot by TechCabal — Oct 28-29
Organised by TechCabal, an African tech media publication, Moonshot is a pan-African technology conference spanning nine core content tracks, including The Future of Commerce, Emerging Tech (AI & ML), Government & Policy, The Creative Economy, and Big Tech & Enterprise. Launched in 2023, it has hosted over 12,650 participants from 44 countries. This year’s speakers include Odunayo Eweniyi, co-founder of PiggyVest, and Olugbenga Agboola, founder & CEO of Flutterwave.
African Creators Conference 2.0 — Oct 30-31
The Conference is a pan-African convergence designed to position the continent’s creative, digital, and tech-driven talent as the primary engine for sustainable economic development. It has niche innovation rooms like the Creators Room, AI Room, Gaming & Animation Room, Career Room, and Deal Room.
It is backed by continental networks like AfriLabs and international entities like UNESCO. In 2026, speakers will include Salem King, co-founder of Crea8torium, and Tumi Ifebogun, founder of the Herfrican Impact Network. It will be held at the Abuja Trade & Convention Centre, Abuja, Nigeria.
Pie & AI: Abuja – AI for All: Bridging Innovation, Talent & Community — Oct 31
AI for All: Bridging Innovation, Talent & Community is an artificial intelligence meetup hosted in partnership with DeepLearning. AI, the global AI education platform founded by tech pioneer Andrew Ng. This meetup breaks down complex machine learning concepts into accessible, actionable insights for builders at all levels. It is held in Abuja, Nigeria.
