Knowing when a thing isn’t working and when to walk away is a career that Omolade Falobi has honed for a while and one which has shaped her career. As an undergraduate, she experimented with her career as she tried to figure out what she loved doing the most.

Born to a journalist father, she dabbled in journalism, copywriting, communications, and photography at the University of Ibadan. In 2018, she won the Teens Choice Award for Best Photographer. Last year, she founded JumpWag before shutting it down in early 2026.

Falobi is the founding marketer at Daya, which raised a $2.4 million seed round in June. She also publishes Marketing for Geeks, a Substack newsletter with over 3,000 subscribers.
