Tyms Inc., the AI-native accounting platform behind Adam, today announced a partnership with Seedstars, the global platform investing in and supporting entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Tyms has integrated with Seedstars’ SIGMA platform to support bookkeeping and financial reporting for entrepreneurs in participating programs.
The partnership addresses a problem familiar to founders across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia: most small businesses operate without formal financial records, which locks them out of credit, investment, and formal growth pathways. Adam by Tyms removes the traditional barrier to bookkeeping by allowing business owners to simply upload a bank statement, snap a photo of a receipt, or describe a transaction in plain language. Adam handles the categorisation, journal entries, and reporting behind the scenes.
“Every business owner deserves to know where their money is going, regardless of whether they can afford an accountant. That belief is why we built Tyms. Seedstars is putting it in front of thousands of founders across three continents.” – Ibrahim Adepoju, CEO and Co-founder, Tyms
“Many entrepreneurs have the business data, but not the financial records they need to make decisions or speak to lenders and investors. Connecting Tyms with SIGMA gives eligible founders in participating programs a practical way to turn that information into usable financial statements.” — Pierre-Alain Masson, CEO and Co-founder, Seedstars
Through the integration, eligible entrepreneurs in participating Seedstars programs can generate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements as their financial data is entered.
The partnership reflects a broader trend of impact-driven platforms embedding AI financial infrastructure directly into their existing products rather than building it from scratch. Tyms says it is open to similar integrations with other platforms serving small businesses in emerging markets.
