Role Overview
We are looking for a Consumer Tech Writer & Newsletter Editor to create clear, engaging, and useful content for our audience.
This role combines hands-on writing with ownership of our newsletter. The ideal candidate understands how to write content people actively search for, and how to turn that content into something readers look forward to in their inbox.
Key Responsibilities
Consumer Tech Content
- Research and write articles on consumer technology topics (apps, tools, devices, digital trends)
- Create clear, practical, and engaging content that addresses real user needs
- Identify content opportunities based on audience interest and demand
- Improve and update existing articles for clarity, relevance, and performance
Newsletter Ownership
- Plan and produce Condia’s newsletters on a consistent schedule
- Write engaging subject lines and summaries that drive opens and clicks
- Curate and package content into a clear, compelling format
- Continuously improve newsletter performance and reader experience
Content Quality & Editorial Standards
- Ensure content is easy to read, well-structured, and engaging
- Maintain a consistent tone and voice across articles and newsletters
- Simplify complex topics for a broad audience
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in content writing, journalism, or digital publishing
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to explain technology clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience writing content intended for online audiences
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing about consumer technology or digital products
- Experience contributing to or managing a newsletter
- Understanding of how readers discover and consume content online
- Familiarity with basic content performance metrics
