Visa, the global digital payments company, will give its cardholders early access to tickets for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco this December 2025. While general sales open on September 27, Visa customers can secure their seats two days ahead of time.

This gives fans across Africa, including Nigeria, the opportunity to book tickets for the continent’s biggest football tournament before they go on public sale. A second presale event is expected to run from October 21 to 23.

“We have a long history of sporting partnerships at a global level, and we strive to offer exclusive benefits that allow our clients and customers the opportunity to experience the magic and passion of sport,” said Leila Serhan, Visa’s Senior Vice President & Group Country Manager for the North Africa, Levant & Pakistan region.

In addition to ticket access, Visa is rolling out other programs to enrich the fan experience. These include exclusive fan activities and a kids’ program that will grant nearly 1,150 children the opportunity to walk onto the pitch with their football heroes.

Visa’s track record in sports sponsorship is long-standing. It has supported major global events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the FIFA World Cup™ and has active partnerships with Formula 1 teams, including Visa Cash App, RB, and Oracle Red Bull Racing, as well as ties to American football.
