Condia, a leading African tech publication, is a driven and results-oriented Sales & Partnership Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in developing and executing strategic sales and partnership initiatives to drive revenue growth. You'll build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, identify and develop creative partnership opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the publication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Prospect and qualify leads, identify client needs, and develop customised solutions through advertising packages, sponsorships, and content marketing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring all contracts are signed on time.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships that benefit both parties and expand our reach.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Maintain and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or partnerships.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to learn about emerging trends.
