Condia, a reputable African tech publication, seeks a driven and results-oriented Sales & Partnership Associate to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be pivotal in developing and executing strategic sales and partnership initiatives to drive revenue growth. You'll build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, identify and establish partnership opportunities, and contribute to the overall success of the publication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue target
- Prospect and qualify leads, identify client needs, and develop customised solutions through advertising packages, sponsorships, and content marketing opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong client relationship, fostering trust and long-term partnerships
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring all contracts are signed and paid for in good time
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships that benefit both parties and expand our reach.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations
- Maintain and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or partnerships at a tech startup or media company
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn about emerging trends
