About
Justin Ziegler is the co-founder and COO of Juicyway, the Lagos-based stablecoin-powered cross-border payments platform he built alongside Ife Johnson to serve African businesses paying suppliers, settling invoices, and repatriating earnings across borders. Based in the United States, Ziegler leads the operations and partnerships of a platform that operated in stealth for three years before emerging publicly in December 2024 — by which point it had already processed over $1.3 billion in transaction volume across 25,000 transactions for more than 4,000 business customers. The $3 million pre-seed round he helped secure, led by P1 Ventures, followed a growth story built almost entirely through referrals.
Ziegler belongs on the Borderless 100 because business-to-business cross-border payments are among the highest-leverage problems in African fintech, and the operational scale Juicyway reached before most people knew the company existed is evidence of what the market will pay for solutions that actually work. His role in building and managing the business relationships underlying that volume is as significant as the technology running beneath them.
