Odufuwa came to crypto from newsrooms: editor-in-chief at ZUMI, Konbini and Zikoko, social producer at CNN, media work at Universal Music Group and MTV Shuga, with a BSc in financial economics and an MSc in international finance from the University of Kent.
She joined Binance in 2021 as head of PR for Africa and rose to global head of product communications. Through the years, the company became both the largest liquidity venue in Nigerian crypto and the subject of a high-profile standoff with the Nigerian state.
She has led communications at Trust Wallet since May 2024 and has also worked with Blockchain.com.
