Flutterwave has reeled out stablecoin announcements over the last nine months: Polygon as a default settlement chain, merchant stablecoin wallets built with Nuvion and Turnkey, Ripple taking equity, and Tempo added as a settlement layer.
Every one of those relationships has to be negotiated, integrated, tested and then run by someone inside the building before a merchant in Lagos sees a balance move. Emmanuel is the stablecoin and blockchain commercial lead doing that work.
She trained as a lawyer, moved into growth at Xend Finance, then ran growth and operations for Binance across Africa — which is where you learn what African users do with stablecoins rather than what a deck says they do. She also writes StableRails, the Flutterwave newsletter documenting the build as it happens.
