The countdown has begun for TEDxAjegunle 2025, returning on November 28, with a powerhouse lineup of innovators, creatives, and changemakers shaping Africa’s next wave of transformation.

Over 500 participants are expected to gather for a day of bold ideas, shared stories, and connections that bridge grassroots innovation with global relevance.

For Adetutu Daniele, the Lead Organizer of TEDxAjegunle, this year’s event represents the power of what happens when local creativity meets global perspective.

“Ajegunle has always been a symbol of creativity and grit,” she said. “TEDxAjegunle 2025 is about showing how far that spirit can go when given a platform. We’re bringing together people who prove that boundaries are only starting points.”

A Lineup of Builders and Visionaries

The 2025 edition features some of Africa’s most inspiring names turning ideas into real impact across tech, business, and culture.

Leading the lineup is Douglas Kendyson (CEO, Selar), whose company has powered over $10 million in payouts to African creators, redefining how digital products thrive on the continent. 

He’s joined by Misturah Owolabi (Founder, Misty Glam), part of the creative team behind Nigeria’s first Cannes Lions award, and Victor Fatanmi (CEO, FourthCanvas), who won The Future Awards Prize for Technology in 2023 for his work at the intersection of storytelling and innovation.

Also on stage is Harrison “Harri” Obi (Co-lead, Superteam), a blockchain strategist with global experience across leading crypto ecosystems, alongside Kunle Olabode (Creative Director, APEX by PK), known for delivering boundary-pushing design projects across continents.

Others include Orifunke Lawal (Founder, Lady with Balls), who’s built a network empowering over 300 women; Cracky Brown (CEO, Cloudde), recognized for his strategic approach to structure and execution; Oti Egwu (Chief Advisor, Bloomwit), behind campaigns for Mastercard and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; and Olagoke Balogun (Founder/CEO, So Fresh), pioneering healthier living through Nigeria’s leading clean food chain.

The event will also feature a panel session with Julius Ilori (Learners Corner), Israel Ladi Ogunseye,Startup Operator ; and Gertrude Umeh (Sales Operations Lead, Big Cabal Media), exploring how innovation and collaboration can fuel community growth. The day will close with a

fireside chat featuring Temidayo Oloyede (CEO, Edala Homes), who’s building scalable impact through real estate innovation.
