Cutstruct raises $2.4 Million to become Nigeria’s one-stop shop for construction materials

For many developers in Nigeria, sourcing construction materials is one of the biggest bottlenecks in the building process. The traditional approach, dealing with multiple vendors for different materials, often leads to delays, cost overruns, and, in worst-case scenarios, substandard products that compromise the integrity of a project.

That’s where Cutstruct comes in, making procurement simpler, faster, and far more efficient. As Nigeria’s leading construction materials marketplace, Cutstruct is reimagining how developers and contractors source everything they need to build. Instead of juggling multiple suppliers, developers now rely on one trusted partner for all materials, from cement and steel to roofing sheets and tiles. With a single platform handling negotiations, sourcing, and delivery, builders can cut through the chaos and focus on what matters most: building and delivering quality projects on time.

To fuel this growth and continue supporting developers, Cutstruct has raised a total of $2.4 million to date. The most recent raise was a $1.5 million seed round led by CRE Venture Capital, followed by E3 Capital, and prior to that, from other major investors including Techstars, Zedcrest, and more.

Ogaba Sanni, CEO of Regent Real Estate, shared, “Using Cutstruct, I have noticed that I spend less time talking to suppliers and bargaining. My time management has drastically improved. I don’t have to worry that I am getting a bad batch of cement or sharp sand that is not pure.”

Beyond time savings, cost efficiency is a major advantage. “Working with Cutstruct has saved us time and money,” said Deji Johnson, CEO of Elara Developments. For developers like Dipo Johnson of J.O. Dabar Investments, Cutstruct has removed the stress of tracking deliveries and ensuring quality across suppliers. “Prior to Cutstruct, I dealt with several suppliers, and it was extremely chaotic. Tracking materials and ensuring quality across different suppliers was a nightmare.”

By streamlining procurement and logistics, Cutstruct is helping developers bring more homes to market faster, directly addressing Nigeria’s housing crisis.

With this funding, Cutstruct is scaling to become the one-stop shop for construction materials in Nigeria: one platform, one solution, one trusted source. As the company puts it, “Our goal is to make construction smarter, faster, and better,” said Jessica Oguh, Media & Communications at Cutstruct. “We believe builders should be able to focus on building, not chasing vendors or worrying about delays.” As the real estate and infrastructure landscape in Nigeria continues to evolve, Cutstruct is making it possible to build with ease, speed, and confidence.
