Speaking about his recognition, Ademola Adeyemi-King shares: “Receiving the Tech Education & Skills Development Leadership Award in the UK and being named a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (USA) were defining moments in my journey. Not because they boosted my personal profile, but because they validated a vision I’ve held since my earliest days as a tutor, that education and technology can transform lives at scale.
When I received those honors, I wasn’t thinking about myself. I was thinking about the rural students who had never touched a computer before joining our programs, the employees who learned how to use AI to improve their companies, and the thousands of young people who now see technology as a tool to shape their futures.”
In addition to global recognition, Adeyemi-King has also been celebrated for his professional excellence in sales leadership. In 2023, he was awarded “Sales Executive of the Year” at StarTimes, where he was recognised for exemplary performance as a Sales Solutions Expert; a role in which he designed innovative strategies that drove growth and improved customer engagement.
Awards matter because they shine a spotlight on work that often happens quietly, in classrooms and community centres far from global media. They encourage partnerships, attract funding, and amplify stories of transformation. For instance, after receiving international recognition, he and his team expanded their AI training programs into two additional regions, reaching over 3,000 new learners in just one year.
