TechCrunch unveils 200 startups as part of the Startup Battlefield 200 at Disrupt 2025. Now in its 20th year, TechCrunch Disrupt (October 27–29 in San Francisco) remains one of the most influential stages for founders, investors, and the global tech ecosystem.

The Startup Battlefield program highlights young companies building breakthrough solutions across categories like health, AI, energy, consumer, and enterprise tech. Alumni such as Dropbox, Cloudflare, and Discord have collectively raised over $32 billion, with more than 250 exits.

This initiative is part of TechCrunch’s commitment to spotlighting founders from every corner of the globe and connecting them with resources, investors, and visibility on the global stage.

Since its inception, the Startup Battlefield track record has made it one of the most competitive launchpads in the world. Thousands of applications are narrowed down to 200 companies — all of which will exhibit at Disrupt. From this group, 20 will advance as finalists to compete live for the $100,000 equity-free grand prize and the iconic Disrupt Cup.

The 2025 cohort includes innovators focused on AI-driven commerce, health diagnostics, energy transition, legal tech, proptech, and sustainable solutions.
