Flat6Labs, an Egyptian-based startup accelerator, has launched F6 Group, a new structure that brings together its accelerator programmes and a fresh venture capital arm, F6 Ventures, under one umbrella. The move signals a shift towards deeper involvement in early-stage funding across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

F6 Ventures will manage six funds with over $90 million in assets under management (AUM) and plans to expand that figure to $200 million within five years. The firm expects to back over 200 startups, with a focus on the pre-seed and seed stages.

Co-founded by Dina el-Shenoufy and Ramez El-Serafy, the new firm builds on Flat6Labs’ track record of supporting over 300 startups. El-Shenoufy will serve as CEO of F6 Group and General Partner at F6 Ventures.

Speaking on the launch, el-Shenoufy said: “F6 Ventures marks a new era in our journey, bringing focused capital and sharper execution to support the region’s boldest founders.”

Flat6Labs to continue as startup support arm

Flat6Labs will continue to run its accelerator programmes and founder support initiatives under the F6 Group, now led by the newly appointed CEO, Yehia Houry. The brand will remain active across several markets, with a renewed focus on ecosystem development and programme delivery.

The company said its new structure allows it to offer startups both capital and hands-on support, bridging a gap many founders in emerging markets still face.
