Spiro, Africa’s largest electric vehicle company, is teaming up with Afrobeats superstar Davido. This partnership brings together Spiro’s vision for sustainable transportation and Davido’s immense influence as one of Africa’s most iconic cultural figures. 

The collaboration aims to highlight the potential of clean energy while encouraging Africans to embrace electric mobility. Together, they aim to spotlight the possibilities of clean energy while inspiring Africans to embrace electric mobility.

Davido, known for global hits like Unavailable and Assurance, expressed his excitement about the partnership, emphasising its potential to create meaningful change. “I’ve always believed in using my platform to uplift my fans and community. Partnering with Spiro feels right; switching to electric saves money, protects our planet, and honestly, it’s fresh. Together, we’re bringing new energy to Africa,” he said.

Spiro CEO Kaushik Burman echoed these sentiments, praising Davido’s alignment with the company’s vision. “Davido embodies African excellence; bold, innovative, and globally admired. As we expand electric mobility across Africa, his influence will help inspire millions to join the movement,” Burman said.

Spiro is transforming mobility across Africa. With over 22,000 electric bikes on the roads and more than 300 million kilometers traveled emission-free in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Rwanda, Spiro is making electric bikes more accessible. Thanks to its innovative battery-swapping technology, riders can easily and safely exchange batteries at designated stations.

The partnership also coincides with the release of Davido’s highly anticipated album, 5IVE, set to drop in early 2025. Davido’s creative director, Kayode “Tycoone” Umardeen, will work closely with Spiro’s team to deliver impactful campaigns that showcase the synergy between innovation and culture.
