Zekarias Amsalu has spent years building bridges between Africa's fintech ecosystem and the institutions, investors and policymakers beyond the continent. Through the Africa Fintech Summit, he has created a recurring platform connecting entrepreneurs and decision-makers across African markets with counterparts in Washington and other global centres. Since 2018, the summit has become a meeting point for conversations around payments, financial inclusion, investment and regulation. Amsalu belongs on the Borderless 100 because convening is a form of infrastructure: before capital, partnerships and policy can cross borders, the people making those decisions have to find each other.
