Timi Ajiboye

Timi Ajiboye is one of the foundational figures in Nigeria's crypto and fintech ecosystem. Alongside Ire Aderinokun and Tomiwa Lasebikan, he co-founded Buycoins, one of the country's defining cryptocurrency platforms of the previous cycle. He later helped build Sendcash, giving Africans another route for moving money across borders. But Ajiboye's influence extends beyond the companies themselves: the ecosystem of founders and builders that emerged around Buycoins have produced a remarkable second generation of African technology companies, including ventures associated with former team members.
