Dare Okoudjou

Dare Okoudjou has spent more than a decade solving one of Africa's hardest financial problems. Through MFS Africa, now Onafriq, he built a payments infrastructure business connecting mobile-money wallets, banks, fintechs and other financial institutions across dozens of African markets. The company's network reaches hundreds of millions of consumers, while acquisitions such as Baxi have extended its distribution deeper into Nigeria. Partnerships with global payment networks are now pushing that infrastructure beyond the continent. Okoudjou belongs on the Borderless 100 because interoperability is the foundation of a borderless economy and he built much of the connective tissue before the phrase became fashionable.
