Chris Maurice co-founded Yellow Card to make digital dollars accessible across Africa, building one of the continent's most important stablecoin platforms in the process. Yellow Card now operates across more than 20 African markets and has evolved from a consumer crypto exchange into institutional payments infrastructure, including through its partnership with Circle Payments Network. Maurice has also helped turn Yellow Card into an important source of data on African stablecoin adoption and cross-border flows. He belongs on Borderless 100 for doing both sides of the job: building the rails that move digital dollars across African markets and documenting why those rails matter.
