Allen Onyema has demonstrated that aviation can be powerful cross-border infrastructure. As chairman of Air Peace, he oversaw the Nigerian carrier's entry into the Lagos-London market in 2024, introducing additional competition on one of the most important routes connecting Nigeria with its diaspora. The resulting pressure on fares showed how quickly new capacity can change the economics of international travel for African consumers.
